I thought I'd give MLB a shot since it's their data that ESPN buys the rights to every day. It's all very impossible to copy and paste at MLB Game Day - I guess because they sell that data to other companies - like ESPN. I will go there never again - as the internet in my opinion, is all about copy and paste.

Soon someone will develop a way to copy and paste from a flash player, so people can create links to content and grow the sub-culture of what ever it is their browsing - like MLB line-ups and such.

No more links for you! MLB "Advanced" Media.

6th Inning

Jerry Howarth the FAN590 radio play by play voice of the Toronto Blue Jays mentions during Votto's AB that it's almost dark in Cincinnati. Up here in Toronto, on about the same longitude, with the sunset happening very much to the north only 3 days from the solstice (longest day), as Jerry speakes the sky is at that 'high sky' point of the evening where pop fly balls disappear --- about 20 minutes before the darkness that Jerry is talking about sets in.

Neat.

Post Game

I relented, I never did get what happened on the Patterson sacrifice in the 3rd, I originally guessed the second baseman threw the ball into foul ground right field, it was the pitcher who fielded the though pass bunt attempt. Scored a sac and an error throwing, batter runner out at third 9-3-5. ESPN missed it too --- so I had to go to MLB Game Day after all - to get it right. Their post game statistical interface is really good - but not available to non-paying viewers until after the game. So, the cross out comes off the MLB Game Day link below...

Scoring help from MLB - Game Day.
