Blogger Baseball Scorecard: 2010 MLB Postseason Baseball: ALCS New York Yankees @ Texas Rangers

New York's improbable comeback in the 8th inning last night made me sick. I was aware of their ability to do that, no lead is safe, bla, bla, bla - but as it was happening I never believed they'd actually beat the Rangers in that game. Until they did. And they did.

Like I said yesterday, "Ouch!".

Nick Swisher makes a diving try on the Kinsler 3BH to the right field corner. The dive was a good gamble in my opinion - he almost got it and if he'd played it safe the result would have been the same - run scored and runner on second instead of third, which it turned out probably would have score on the Moreland BH to LF (but maybe not). Maybe Swisher holds Kinsler to a double if he had played the ricochet in the corner just right. Nice try!
